KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

Kibale national park was established in 1993 is managed by Uganda Wildlife Authority. The park protects moist evergreen forests and is known for primate safaris ( Chimpanzee Trekking & Habituation) plus other 13 primates which can be seen on nature walks.

RWENZORI MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK

The Rwenzori Mountains National Park covers nearly 100,000 ha and comprises of the Rwenzori mountain including Africa’s third highest peak (Mount Margherita: 5,109 m). The region’s glaciers, waterfalls, lakes make it one of beautiful alpine areas.

LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

Lake Mburo national park is an exceptional protected area rich in diverse and amazing features that varies in landscape such as the wetland and the natures with various mammals species, bird species of which are not found in any Uganda’s safari destination, rolling hills, golden savannah, forests, ancient rocks.

MGAHINGA NATIONAL PARK

Mgahinga gorilla national park is the smallest national park in Uganda located in southwestern region in Kisoro district bordering with Rwanda and Democratic republic of Congo, It hosts the mountain gorillas, Golden monkey with freedom to cross to Rwanda, the land of thousand hills that also has primates like gorillas

MOUNT ELGON NATIONAL PARK

Mount Elgon National Park is a national park 140 kilometres (87 mi) northeast of Lake Victoria. The park covers an area of 1,279 square kilometres (494 sq mi) and is bisected by the border of Kenya and Uganda.

SEMULIKI NATIONAL PARK

Semuliki National Park protects an extension of the Ituri forest in the Democratic republic of Congo. It is located in western Uganda on the floor of the Rwenzori Mountains. It is known for birding and birders must visit!
